COLORADO RAILS & TRAILS
September 29-October 5, 2008

Our Colorado Rails & Trails tour will take you through the majestic scenery of the Colorado Rocky Mountains combined with the Signature Tour beautiful fall foliage of the aspens. You'll also travel deep through the Royal Gorge Canyon aboard the Royal Gorge Route Railroad where the canyon walls are over 1,000 ft. high! Next, travel from the lows to the highs when you board the Pikes Peak Cog Railroad for a journey that takes you to one of the highest points on the front range - Pikes Peak. Add to that, other fun sites to include the Gunnison National Monument, the Air Force Academy, the U.S. Olympic Complex, the Garden of the Gods, and more. TRAIN INTO FALL
September 25-October 1, 2008

On this tour travel 114 miles deep into the Agawa Canyon aboard the Algoma Central Railroad for an incredible fall foliage railroad experience. Travel over towering trestles, see pristine northern lakes and rivers, as well as awesome granite rock formations and mixed forests of evergreens and maples. The color can be blinding! Halfway through your trip stop at the Agawa Canyon Park for time to Signature Tour take scenic walks, explore and find four waterfalls, and enjoy a picnic lunch. There are so many other fun sites on this trip which include Frankenmuth, Kalamazoo Air Zoo, travel over the world's longest suspension bridge - the Mackinac Bridge, and more. TRAINS OF CALIFORNIA
September 6-13, 2008

For a fall train trip of a different sort, our Trains of California trip will provide a wide variety of scenery from the beautiful coastal route along the Pacific Ocean to the giant Redwoods, to the beautiful rolling hills of Napa Valley. Board Amtrak for the beautiful coastal route from Los Angeles to San Luis Obispo. At times, the ocean will almost seem to lap the rails as you make your way northward. Board your motorcoach for the incredible Highway 1 journey from Carmel to Monterey. Travel deep into the Redwoods aboard the Roaring Camp and Big Trees Railroad, and see these stately trees up close. Board the "Skunk" Train whose rails date back to 1855 and was originally a logging railroad. This excursion combines the beautiful Redwoods and the coastal California mountain range. Finally, the Napa Valley Wine Train passes through the serene Napa and Mendecino Counties with the vineyards as your constant companion. CUMBRES & TOLTEC RAILROAD & SOUTHERN COLORADO GEMS
August 15-19, 2008

A ride on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad is like a trip back in time to the Frontier Signature Tour West. You'll marvel at the power of this steam locomotive as it climbs into the mountains. Wildlife and pristine mountain scenery are a feast for the eyes as knowledgeable train attendants bring the lore of 1880 train travel to life.
