Day 1 Fly to Israel
Today, embark on a journey to the Holy
Land, and prepare yourself for a lifechanging
experience. Tomorrow you will be
walking where Jesus walked!
Day 2 Arrive Israel (D)
Meet your local Israeli guide who will accompany
you throughout your entire stay. Travel
northward to your hotel near the coastal area
of Tel Aviv. The remainder of the day is free
to walk along the Mediterranean and relax.
Day 3 Caesarea / Mt. Caramel / Nazareth / Sea of Galilee (B, D)
Travel along the coast of the Mediterranean
Sea to Caesarea where Peter was baptized.
Then, journey to Mt. Caramel and on to
Megiddo where archeologists have unearthed
20 levels of civilization. Continue on to
Cana and Nazareth where costumed guides
will recreate biblical times. Spend two nights
in the Tiberius area on the Sea of Galilee.
Day 4 Capernaum / Caesarea / Sermon on the Mount Site / Sea of Galilee Cruise (B, D)
Today, visit Caesarea, the site of Peter’s confession,
and also Capernaum and the ancient
synagogue as well as Peter’s home. Travel
onto the site of the Sermon on the Mount
where the miracle of the multiplication of
the loaves and fish occurred. This evening,
enjoy a relaxing cruise on the Sea of Galilee.
Day 5 Jordan River Baptism Site / Dead Sea (B, D)
Begin your day with a visit to the Jordan
River Baptismal Site. Also today, see the
Ruins of Scythopolis in the Jordan valley.
A huge number of Roman Byzantine
Ruins have been uncovered. You’ll see the
agricultural restoration of the “Land of Milk
and Honey,” and Israel’s intricate irrigation
development. Overnight at the Dead Sea –
the lowest place on earth.
Day 6 Fortress of Masada / Dead Sea Scrolls Cave / Abraham’s Tent Dinner (B, D)
Take a cable car ride to the mountain-top
Fortress of Masada. Then, proceed to Ein
Gedi where it’s said that David hid from
Saul. Visit the Qumran Cave where the
Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Later this
evening, enjoy a dinner in Abraham’s Tent and relive the life and times of the
patriarchs. Lodging for the next four nights will be in Jerusalem.
Day 7 Jerusalem / Holocaust Museum (B, D)
Visit the Upper Room just outside the
Zion Gate as well as time to visit the Israeli
Museum and see collections of centuries
old artifacts including the Dead Sea Scrolls.
Walk through an accurately-detailed model
of biblical Jerusalem and conclude your day
with a visit to the Holocaust Museum.
Day 8 Mount of Olives / Garden of Gethsemane / House of Caiaphas / The Wailing
Wall (B, D)
Step back into biblical times in the life of
Jesus today. You’ll have a panoramic view
of the city from atop the Mount of Olives.
Visit the Garden of Gethsemane and the
House of Caiaphas and walk in Jesus’ steps
to visit the Wailing Wall. The Rabbinical
Tunnels will lead you through the Second
Temple Era and provide an understanding
of the amazing construction of the Temple
Mount. See the Pool of Bethesda, Steven’s
Gate, and St. Ann’s Church.
Day 9 Way of Suffering / Garden Tomb / Optional Tour To Bethlehem (B, D)
See the actual place of the crucifixion of Jesus
and the burial area. The climax of your day
is a visit to Golgotha and the Garden Tomb.
See the area where Jesus drove out the vendors
at the Temple Mount. This afternoon,
you may choose to shop the city marketplace
or take an optional tour to Bethlehem.
Day 10 Travel Home (B)
It’s been an awesome journey into the biblical
past where you “walked the walk” at the
places you’ve read so much about. This
wasn’t just a trip, it was an indelible experience
to be treasured for a lifetime.
Important Note: Although this itinerary obviously emphasizes the spiritual aspect of this marvelous country, the guides are experts in, and passionate about, the miracle of the return of the Jews and the restoration of the State of Israel.
