Day 1 Travel Day/Denver (D)

Day 2 Taos Pueblo (CB)
Situated on a rolling mesa at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Taos, New Mexico has a magical quality. Explore the Taos Pueblo, where the Tiwa Native Americans have practiced their traditions for centuries. This Pueblo, consisting of multi-storied adobe buildings, has been continuously inhabited for over 1000 years.

Day 3 Santa Fe / Loretto Chapel / Old Lincoln County Court- house / The Dolan House / Ruidoso (CB, D)
Today, a local expert guide will show you why Santa Fe was voted as the fifth most popular travel city by Travel & Leisure Magazine. See the amazing Loretto Chapel with the most unusual staircase. Next, visit the small town of Lincoln and the Old Lincoln County Courthouse where “Billy the Kid” escaped from jail. Enjoy dinner at The Dolan House, and hear more stories of the Lincoln County Wars.

Day 4 White Sands National Monument / Tombstone (CB, D)
Travel to the White Sands National Monument of Alamogordo, NM, one of the world’s great natural wonders. A local step-on guide will take you through the dunes to get a closeup view. This afternoon, visit Tombstone, Arizona, dubbed “the town too tough to die.” Tonight, enjoy a Chuckwagon Dinner and entertainment at the Tombstone Livery.

Day 5 Birdcage Theater / OK Corral (CB)
Feel the history as you walk the same streets as Doc Holliday, Wyatt Earp, Johnny Ringo, Ike Clanton and a host of other Western Legends walked over 125 years ago. Visit the Birdcage Theater, the local brothel, take in a shootout at the OK Corral, and ride the streets of Tombstone on a stage coach.

Day 6 Fort Hauchuca / Mission San Xavier / Pima Air & Space Museum / Tucson (CB, D)
Today visit Fort Huachuca, known as the home to the “Buffalo Soldiers”, and learn the role that these soldiers played in the Civil War years. As you travel toward Tucson, visit the Mission San Xavier Del Bac, built in 1692, which stands as a symbol of years past. Pima Air and Space Museum, one of the largest air and space museums in the world, displays more than 250 vintage aircraft including the DC-6 used by Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson. Tonight, visit Trail Dust Town, featuring wooden boardwalks, red brick streets, a detailed old-fashioned

town square, and a centerpiece gazebo. Enjoy dinner and entertainment at the Pinnacle Peak Cowboy Steak House, home of the famous Cowboy Steak.

Day 7 West Saguaro National Park / Queen Creek Olive Mill / Dolly Steamboat Cruise / Mesa (CB, L)
Drive though West Saguaro National Park to see the giant Saguaro cacti -- the universal symbol of the Old West. Today, head north and visit the Queen Creek Olive Mill, Arizona’s only working olive mill and farm. Continue on to Apache Junction and board the Dolly Steamboat Cruise where you can relax while admiring the breathtaking flora and fauna of the lower Sonoran desert.

Day 8 Phoenix City Tour / Desert Botanical Garden (CB, D)
This morning, take a city tour of the Phoenix/ Scottsdale metropolitan area highlighting the historic, geologic and cultural features of the city. Then, pick your own oranges at a “u-pick” orange grove, before visiting the Desert Botanical Garden, located in beautiful Papago Park; a wonderful way to experience the beauty of the desert without leaving Phoenix.

Day 9 Sedona / Trolley Tour / Grand Canyon (CB, D)
Spectacular Sedona beckons with its massive fire-red buttes and mesas. Browse the fascinating shops and respected galleries before experiencing the narrated trolley tour of this beautiful area.

Day 10 Grand Canyon / Cortez, CO (CB)
Today, travel to the canyon of all canyons - the Grand Canyon, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Peek over the South Rim of the majestic Grand Canyon and explore the many lookouts nearby.

Day 11 Pagosa Springs / Wolf Creek Pass / San Juan Mountains / Colorado Springs, CO (CB)
Drive across Colorado today to Pagosa Springs, known for their therapeutic mineral springs. Travel over Wolf Creek Pass through the San Juan Mountains while stopping at overlooks and vistas to see the majestic snow-capped peaks of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

Day 12 Manitou Springs / US Olympic Complex / Garden of the Gods/Denver (CB, L)
Visit Miramont Castle in Manitou Springs, built of rare hand-quarried greenstone into a mountainside, it “stairsteps” up the mountain. Take a guided tour of the US Olympic Complex including the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame, interactive displays and an endless collection of Olympic photos. Drive through Garden of the Gods and stop at the visitor center to hear the story behind the red rock gardens.
