Day 1 Travel Day (D)
Board your “Throw Mama On The Train” coach for a trip of outstanding scenery and mountain fun. Meet your fellow travel mates for a get-acquainted dinner, hosted by Fun Tours.

Day 2 Amtrak to Glenwood Springs/Hot Springs Pool (B,D)
All aboooard! Board Amtrak for one of the most spectacular scenic train rides in the U.S. Travel over trestles, through the Mof- fit Tunnel, through deep canyon gorges and along steep canyon walls as you make your way to Glenwood Springs. It will be a fantastic day of “trainin’.” Upon arrival in Glenwood Springs, you’ll be ready to soak in one of the largest hot spring pools in the country. After all, sitting on the train all day might make you feel stiff - the Hot Springs Pool will melt those aches away. The pool is 405 ft. long and 100 ft. wide. It contains over 1 million gallons of water and is kept at about 90 degrees Fahrenheit. There are over 15 different minerals that have been proven to be very therapeutic. vacation destination of President Teddy Roosevelt. Built in 1893, the hotel has hosted such celebrities as Diamond Jack, the Unsinkable Molly Brown and Doc Holiday. According to legend, the world’s most irresistible toy, the Teddy Bear, received its birth at the Hotel Colorado after an unsuccessful day of hunting by President Roosevelt. This evening, enjoy dinner with your fellow travel mates at the hotel. If you like, you can go back to the Hot Springs Pool as your evening is at leisure.

Day 3 Float Trip/Glenwood Caverns/Hot Springs Pool (L,D)
This morning, get ready for a “soft adventure” when you take a scenic float trip on the Colorado River. The scenery will be unbelievable when you experience it from the river. Enjoy lunch following your float trip. This afternoon will be yours at leisure to stroll downtown, frequent some of the quaint shops, or just relax back at the hotel. Later today, take a ride on the Iron Mountain Tramway where you’ll experience a towering panoramic view of the spectacular Rocky Mountains. Skim over the tops of the trees to the top of Iron Mountain. Next, take a tour of the Glenwood Caverns for a fascinating blend of education and entertainment. The one-hour walking tour is suitable for all ages, and your journey will take you on a voyage into the pristine underground world formed millions of years ago. You’ll be amazed at the barn and King’s Row, gigantic rooms deep within the earth, and other worldly cave formations such as soda straws, stalactites, stalagmites and cave bacon still alive and growing! Then, enjoy a delicious dinner at the restaurant on the top of Iron Mountain with beautiful panoramic views of Glenwood Springs
